Add DeviceSpecifications as a preferred source on GoogleJolla has announced a new smartphone named "C", which is created for the Sailfish OS community and developers and is a limited edition. It is available only through the Sailfish Community Device Program and runs pure Sailfish OS 2.0, which is bound to receive all future updates. Selected Jolla C owners will also be invited to test beta OS releases. The smartphone has a 5-inch IPS display with an HD resolution and is powered by a 2500 mAh battery, which is removable. Its performance relies on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 chipset with a 1.3GHz quad-core CPU coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. The camera department includes an 8MP primary shooter and a 2MP selfie snapper. The dual-SIM device supports 2G GSM, 3G WCDAM and 4G LTE networks along with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and Glonass. The model is expected to go on sale in July.SourceRelated news
