Phicomm enters the Indian market with a direct competitor of Xiaomi Mi 4i

Phicomm is a Chinese manufacturer of mobile devices and network equipment that vendors the Indian market with a smartphone that can be deemed as a direct competitor of Xiaomi Mi 4i. The new device is named Passion 660 or P660 and is priced at INR 10 999, which is USD 171.6 roughly. Aimed exclusively at the Indian market, the smartphone will be available for purchase from June 9th via Amazon India. It features a 5-inch FHD IPS display protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and runs Android 4.4 KitKat. The Passion 660 or P660 has dual-SIM capability and supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks as well as Wi-Fi and BT 4.0. It is based on the same chipset as the Xiaomi Mi 4i - a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 one with an octa-core CPU clocked at 1.5GHz and an Adreno 405 GPU. There are 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory on board. The duo of cameras includes a 13MP camera on the back with LED flash and a 5MP Sony IMX 214 camera on the front.
