It will be employed by future flagship devices from global OEMs and smartphone brands, including Honor, iQOO, Nubia, OnePlus, OPPO, POCO, realme, REDMI, RedMagic, ROG, Samsung, Sony, vivo, Xiaomi, and ZTE.
Fueled by the 3rd gen Qualcomm Oryon CPU - the fastest mobile CPU in the world, this powerhouse ushers in record-breaking speeds and unmatched efficiency. Clocking in at 4.6GHz, it improves performance by 20% and CPU power efficiency by 35%, while the Adreno GPU enhances graphics performance by 23% and GPU power efficiency by 20%. The chip also delivers 16% overall SoC power savings. Moreover, the Qualcomm AI Engine adds AI accelerations and 64-bit memory architecture via the upgraded Qualcomm Hexagon NPU and Sensing Hub for a more user-tailored app experience, improved power efficiency, better photos, videos, calls, and more.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 introduces the Qualcomm Adreno High Performance Memory (HPM) - an industry-leading memory cache solution, providing 18Mb of dedicated memory for revolutionary visual rendering at lower power consumption. Plus, players can game smarter for longer thanks to Tile Memory Heap and Mesh Shading, rounding out the full suite of Snapdragon Elite Gaming Features. Users will also enjoy the latest advancements in AI-optimized 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth® wireless technology, and UWB.
