At 8 PM Beijing time later today, Huawei will unveil the Mate X2. The company said the device already has recorded 2.3 million reservations and counting. According to the preliminary data, the Huawei Mate X2 will pack a Kirin 9000 chipset and a 50MP Sony IMX700 primary shooter. The latter will be adjoined by a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 12MP unit and an 8MP snapper that supports up to 10x hybrid zoom. The device will also offer a different design, compared to the Mate Xs. The Mate X2 will fold from outer to inner folding. It will use a very complex hinge structure and innovative materials offering lots of changes compared to the previous generation.
