Nubia has announced its latest gaming Red Magic smartphones. The Red Magic 8 Pro and Red Magic 8 Pro+ are different in battery capacity, charging speed, and memory size. The Pro version has a 6000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging, 8GB/12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 128GB/256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The Pro+ version has a 5000 mAh battery with 165W fast charging, 12GB/16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB/512GB/1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Both Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro devices have a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 116 x 2480 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 10-bit color gray depth. Each is based on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and runs on RedMagic OS 6.0 based on Android 13. The camera department of both models is identical, comprising a 16MP selfie camera, a 50MP Samsung GN5 main shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro unit. The smartphones are equipped with a USB TYpe-C 3.2 port with DP Alt Mode, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and support NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 6E.
