8849 Tank 3 by Unihertz is finally official. This smartphone is an upgrade on every level. For starters, it is fitted with a 6.79-inch IPS display with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2460 px and a 120Hz refresh rate. The camera department impresses with a 50MP SK Hynix Hi-5022Q selfie camera and four rear shooters. The main one packs a 200MP Samsung Samsung S5KHP3 sensor. It is adjoined by a 64MP OmniVision OV64B1B Night Vision camera, a 50MP SK Hynix Hi-5022Q ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP SK Hynix Hi-847 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and autofocus. Moreover, Unihertz Tank 3 boasts a Dimensity 8200 chipset with 5G support, a 3.05GHz octa-core CPU, and a 950 MHz sexta-core Mali-G610 GPU. There are 16GB of RAM on board that can be virtually expanded with up to 10GB and 512GB of built-in storage. [UPDATE] Unihertz has just confirmed to us that the virtual RAM expansion has been improved for up to 16GB, so you can get a total of 32GB of operating RAM. Power is supplied by a 23800 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support and 10W reverse charging, so you can use your Tank 3 as a power bank. The model runs on Android 13 and supports dual-band GPS, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC. The device is fitted with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 1134 waterproof speaker, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C 2.0 port, a camping light with red and blue warning lights, two PTT keys, and a laser rangefinder.
