Xiaomi 15 Ultra Global
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra Global differs from the Xiaomi 15 Ultra for China in the battery capacity. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra China has a 6000 mAh battery, while the Xiaomi 15 Ultra Global has a 5410 mAh unit. Both support 90W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The two devices are based on the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite (SM8750-AB) chipset but the Chinese version offers more RAM+storage options - 12+256, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. The Global version lacks the 12GB+256GB variant. There's no pine green color version and no satellite comms version for the global market.The Xiaomi 15 Ultra Global and the Xiaomi 15 Ultra for China are built around a 6.73-inch AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution of 1440 x 3200 px and an LTPO backplane for a dynamic refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. It delivers a peak brightness 3200 nits and is HDR10+, HDR Vivid, and Dolby Vision certified. The screen is protected by Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0.
The camera department features a 32MP selfie snapper with an f/2.0 aperture and a 21 mm focal length equivalent. it is capable of 4K video recording at 60 fps. On the back, there's a 1-inch 50MP Sony LYT-900 sensor powering the main camera with an f/1.64 aperture and an 8-element lens. It is adjoined by a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 ultra-wide and macro camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 14 mm focal length equivalent. Finally, there are two telephoto units with OIS - one 50MP Sony IMX858 with an f/1.8 aperture and a 70 mm focal length equivalent and one 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP9 unit with an f/2.6 aperture and a 100 mm focal length equivalent. These all are accompanied by a ToF sensor. All cameras feature Leica ultrapure lenses with nano-level multi-layer pyramid coating. The entire camera island is covered with an ultra-low reflection Corning Gorilla Glass 7.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra Global and the Xiaomi 15 Ultra for China run on Xiaomi's HyperOS 2.0 with Bluetooth 6.0, Wi-Fi 7, and NFC support. The device is fitted with a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with power delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode. The price of the global Ultra version starts in Europe at EUR 1500.

Again, the main difference between the Xiaomi 15 Global and the Xiaomi 15 for China is the battery capacity. The global version has a 5240 mAh accumulator, while the Chinese one sports a 5400 mAh unit. Both are based on the Snapdraon 8 Elite chipset paired with 12GB/16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.The front of the device is occupied by a 6.36-inch OLED display with a flat profile and a resolution of 1200 x 2670 px. It delivers a 120Hz refresh rate and 3200 nits of peak brightness. The screen is Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR Vivid, and ZReal certified. Another new thing is screen protection. Xiaomi Dragon Crystal glass is used for the display's protection and the device carries an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
Xiaomi 15 has a familiar camera department comprising three 50MP shooters. The main one uses the same OmniVision OVH9000 sensor as the Xiaomi 14 series. It is paired with an f/1.62 lens with a 23 mm focal length equivalent and supports OIS. There's an ultra-wide unit with an f/2.2 lens, a 14 mm focal length equivalent, and a 114-degree FoV. The 50MP Samsung ISOXCELL JN5 telephoto unit has a 60 mm focal length equivalent and can also serve as a macro camera. The Xiaomi 15 can also record 8K videos at 30 fps. The model runs on the new HyperOS 2.0 and supports Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, and NFC. It is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port with 90W power delivery and DP Alt Mode, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio certifications.
Xiaomi 15 is also available in fewer color options than its Chinese counterpart - Black, White, and Mint. Its pricing in Europe starts at EUR 1000.
