Vivo X Fold3 and X Fold3 Pro are launched in ChinaVivo X Fold3 and Vivo X Fold3 Pro are launched in China. Both models have identical designs with armor glass on the outer display. This glass provides 11x drop resistance due to the special crystals implanted in the glass. They make the internal structure more stable and the structural strength is greatly improved deserving a 5-star SGS drop resistance certification. The internal display is protected by a UTG Super Tough Glass with an impact-resistant membrane. The hinge is lightweight, yet durable thanks to the carbon fiber elements. More specifically, it is 37% lighter than the previous generation. It is also TUV Rheinland certified for being capable of problem-free folding and unfolding 500,000 times. The rear shell features an armor cover combining a UPE fiber composite that is hot-pressed to the rear shell. It is very thin and has a glass texture but delivers super impact resistance as it is 15 times more impact-resistant than glass. Finally, the X Fold3 and X Fold3 Pro are IP68 rated for being resistant to water and dust.

The displays have also been upgraded to the E7 AMOLED material with increased resolution, while retaining last year's diagonal sizes. The outer display has a 6.53-inch diagonal size and a resolution of 1172 x 2748 pixels, while the inner display has an 8.03-inch diagonal size and a resolution of 2480 x 2200 pixels. Both displays have LTPO 8T backplanes with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 10-bit color bit depth, 4500 nits of peak brightness, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ certification.

The main unit uses a 50MP VCS bionic camera with an f/1.68 aperture. It is adjoined by a 64MP telephoto lens with OIS and 3x optical zoom. The third camera uses a 50MP sensor and an ultra-wide lens with an f/2.0 aperture, 119° FoV, and 4K @ 60 fps video recording..

The selfie camera is the same as the one of the Pro version.
