It positions itself as a rugged phone that refuses to look bulky or utilitarian. Instead, it pairs durability with a dual‑screen layout, a massive battery, and hardware that competes with mainstream mid‑range smartphones.
At the center of the experience is a 6.6‑inch FHD+ IPS display by BOE offering a 120Hz refresh rate, 450 nits of brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. A secondary 1.81‑inch rear display adds quick‑glance convenience for calls, notifications, and essential alerts without waking the main screen. Powering the device is an 11,000mAh battery rated for up to 1,300 hours of standby and 65 hours of talk time, supported by 33W fast charging to keep the phone running through extended outdoor use or multi‑day work shifts.
Performance comes from the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 chipset, paired with an octa‑core 2.5GHz CPU and IMG BXM‑8‑256 GPU. The WP66 ships with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, expandable up to 36GB RAM (12GB + 24GB virtual) and 2TB via microSD. Oukitel cites a benchmark score of around 513,190, placing the device comfortably in the mid‑range for gaming, multitasking, and 5G connectivity. The phone runs Android 16 with integrated Gemini AI features, while also supporting NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi‑Fi 5, Wi‑Fi Direct, hotspot functionality, and Cast Display.
Imaging is handled by a triple‑camera system led by a 108MP Samsung S5KHM6 sensor with an f/1.9 lens, capable of capturing detailed photos and recording video at up to 2K/30fps. A 2MP macro unit rounds out the rear setup. On the front, a 32MP Sony IMX616 sensor delivers sharp selfies and high‑quality footage for vlogging or live streaming.
True to its rugged classification, the WP66 carries IP68, IP69K, and MIL‑STD‑810H certifications, ensuring resistance to water, dust, drops, mud, and extreme temperatures. Additional hardware features include a 95 dB loudspeaker, a side‑mounted fingerprint sensor, and a USB‑C port.
Among its competitors, the Oukitel WP66 stands out as the most design‑conscious and balanced performer, combining slimness, dual‑screen innovation, and high endurance without the excessive bulk typical of its competitors. The model is now listed on the Oukitel official store, priced at $450, and will arrive on Ozon in early May.
