The chassis is made of high-quality polycarbonate materials that provide sturdiness and resilience when needed. At the same time, the device is not overburdened with excessive weight. The entire frame is covered with shock-resistant TPU, adding impact resistance and reinforcing its rugged character. The corners are heavily reinforced, and the edges appear slightly raised to protect the screen when placed face‑down. The front is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, while the rear shell is made of polycarbonate as well. It is the rear shell precisely that gives the RugKingPad 2 Pro its distinctive design character. The back panel is finished in three colors, each with a textured surface that enhances grip and resists slipping. The available colors include black, yellow, and gray. We have the gray variant with us, and we must say it is a warm gray hue, nearing the beige palette. Moreover, it makes an appealing contrast with the rest of the device, which is black, making it stand out with a particular youthful, yet elegant flair. Despite its rugged build, Ulefone has refined the design with a slimmer profile. Moreover, the RugKing Pad 2 Pro is the most compact and lightweight tablet with a 10.1-inch display and a 10000-10200 mAh battery that is currently on the market. It is 246 mm wide, 163.5 mm high, 12.65 mm thick, and weighs 706 grams. The front of the device is occupied by a 10.1-inch IPS display with an HD+ resolution (1280 x 800 px) and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The screen delivers 600 cd/m² maximum brightness. It has 9 mm-thick bezels on all four sides. When held in landscape position, the top bezel houses the front-facing camera, with the light and proximity sensors positioned to its right. The LED notification light is placed further to the right. The screen has a pre-applied screen protector. On-screen gestures and virtual navigation buttons are the two options for system navigation. The selfie camera is an 8MP unit employing the OmniVision OV8856 sensor with a 1/4" optical format and a 1.12 μm pixel size. It is paired with a four-element lens with an f/2.0m aperture and a 78° FoV. The camera is capable of recording FHD videos at 30 fps.
