Fairphone 6 is unveiled with Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and a 6.31" pOLED display

Fairphone has released the sixth generation of its modular smartphone. The Fairphone 6 costs EUR 599 and is backed by a 5-year warranty and 8 years of software support. The model arrives with Android 15 out of the box. It features Fairphone's ironically modular design, including replaceable modules and integrated accessories. The latter includes a protected case, a card holder, a lanyard, and a finger loop. Moreover, the device has a bright-yellow physical button dubbed "Lime Switch". It allows you to switch into a quieter mode with a single click - no pings, no scrolling, just a simple, peaceful interface. "Moments" is more than a focus mode; the entire interface transforms into a minimalist, mindful experience designed to help you stay present. In terms of design, Fairphone's recycled matte composite body, Gorilla Glass 7i, IP55 rating against heavy rain, and military-grade drop testing deliver strength with purpose. The available colors include green, white, and black.

Fairphone 6 is built around a 6.31-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 1116 x 2484 px. Its LTPO backplane enables an adaptive refresh rate from 10Hz to 120Hz. The screen delivers 1400 nits of peak brightness and has 800 nits of typical brightness. PWM and DC dimming are supported. A punch hole in the top center of the screen houses a 32MP Samsung ISOCELL JD1 selfie snapper, while the rear shell features a 50MP Sony LYT-700C main shooter, joined by a 13MP ultra-wide and macro lens. Stereo speakers complement the immersive audio-visual experience. The smartphone is based on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of expandable UFS 3.1 storage. Power is supplied by a 4415 mAh battery that can be removed. The model supports Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, and NFC.
