Realme X50 5G and X50 5G Master Edition are official, prices start at CNY 2499 (USD 360)Earlier today, Realme unveiled the Realme X50 5G and the Realme X50 5G Master Edition as planned. These smartphone feature metal frames and glass panels on the back and front (Corning Gorilla Glass 5). The Realme X50 5G is available in Polar White and Glacier Blue colors. The Realme X50 5G Master Edition is designed by a renowned Japanese craftsman and is also available in two colors. The front is adorned with a 6.57-inch IPS display that offers a 120Hz sampling rate and ann FHD+ resolution. It has dual punch hole for the two front cameras - the main Sony IMX471 one with an f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP wide0angle unit with an f/2.2 aperture. These cameras offer advanced shooting options such as Super Image Stabilizer, Night portrait, AI Beauty, Video bokeh.

On the back, there are four rear cameras. The main one is equipped with the 64MP Samsung S5KGW1 sensor and an f/1.8 lens. It is adjoined by an 8MP ultrawide unit with a 119-degree field-of-view, a 12-MP telephoto camera and a 2MP macro lens. Power is supplied by a 4200 mAh battery that supports 30W VOOC FlashCharge 4.0. The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a bottom-firing 1216 super linear speaker with Dolby Sound and Hi-Res support.

Under the hood, the new Snapdragon 765G chipset ticks enabling 5G connectivity and support for the n1, n41, n78 and n79 5G bands of China. The chipset is supported by an advanced cooling system, which includes a double layer of graphite sheet, liquid-cooled copper pipe, thermal gel, thermal silicon pad, copper foil thermal array and more layers graphite sheet. The available RAM options include 6GB/8GB/12GB and the available UFS 2.1 storage options include 128GB/256GB. The model supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and runs on Android 10 with Realme UI on top. A USB Type-C port is provided while there's no 3.5 mm jack.
