Ulefone Armor 33 Pro in for review

We have received an Ulefone Armor 33 Pro unit for review. This smartphone resembles in many ways the Ulefone Armor 30 Pro. The main difference is that the new model packs almost twice as large a battery. Indeed, the Armor 33 Pro boasts a 25500 mAh battery pack. It is currently undergoing our in-house battery life tests, and so far, the device is showing very good results. When you add to this the increased weight and thickness, this is where the differences between the Armor 33 Pro and the Armor 30 Pro end. In everything else, the two smartphones are like twins.
Each arrives with a 66W fast charger and supports 10W reverse wired charging. The processing power is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 (MT6878) chipset. It houses a 2.5GHz octa-core CPU and a 1.1GHz dual-core Mali-G615 MC2 GPU paired with 16GB of quad-channel LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Both have a 6.95-inch IPS main display and a 3.4-inch IPS screen on the back. The main display has an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The rear display has a 412 x 960 px resolution and a 60 Hz refresh rate. Both are protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The camera department is also unchanged, comprising a 50MP OmniVision OV50H main shooter, a 64MP OmniVision OV64B Night Vision unit, a 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP Samsung S5KGD2 snapper for selfies.
The Armor 33 Pro and the Armor 30 Pro arrive with Android 14 on board. We have a confirmation from Ulefone that all devices will be updated to Android 15, but currently, there's no exact timeframe when this will happen. The devices support NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax), Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot, and Cast Display. Each arrives with a headphone-free radio, an IR blaster, a uSmart Connector 2.0, a USB Type-C 2.0 port, a headphone jack, two customizable buttons, a 4W 118 dB speaker with Infinite Halo 2.0, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
