Add DeviceSpecifications as a preferred source on GoogleDoogee is about to launch the second generation of its V Max series. The first models from the series comprise the Doogee V Max 2 Pro and Doogee V Max 2. The only difference between the two is the amount of built-in storage - the Pro version arrives with 1TB of ROM, while the non-Pro variant has 512GB of ROM. Both can expand the storage via a dedicated microSD card slot supporting capacities of up to 2TB. The two devices are also generous in RAM - 16GB for each, with the possibility for virtual RAM expansion with up to 36GB for a total of 48GB.
At the core of the Doogee V Max 2 and V Max 2 Pro is the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset built on a 4 nm process with a 3.35 GHz octa-core CPU and a hexa-core Mali-G615 GPU. The 6.78‑inch IPS display delivers a 1080 × 2460 resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, scratch resistance, and a glove‑friendly mode, making it suitable for outdoor use, further supported by a typical brightness of 550 nits and a contrast ratio of 1500:1.
The headline feature of the two models is their enormous 22,000 mAh batteries, promising up to 173 hours of talk time and 45 days of standby. They support 120W fast charging and 33W reverse wired charging. The silicon‑carbon anode is responsible for improved longevity and improved design. Speaking of the design, the phones feature a reinforced metal–TPU–polycarbonate chassis available in Dusk Black, Ridge Gray, and Terra Titanium, and carry IP68, IP69K, and MIL‑STD‑810H ratings, signaling resistance to water, dust, shocks, and extreme environments.
Photography is led by a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP2 main camera capable of 4K video at 30 fps, supported by a 64MP OmniVision OV64B night‑vision camera with four IR lights and a 4K‑capable ultra‑wide module. The front camera uses a 32MP sensor. Connectivity is equally comprehensive, with dual-SIM 5G, Wi‑Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, VoLTE, and a USB‑C port. Additional outdoor‑oriented extras include a digital rear display, dual stereo speakers, a 1000‑lumen camping light, and RGB ambient lighting, reinforcing the V Max 2 and V Max 2 Pro's positioning as tools for demanding environments rather than conventional smartphones.
