The device is positioned as "the world's first AI‑powered smartphone." The announcement marks a significant moment for the brand, which is pairing the launch with its new Doubao mobile assistant - an AI companion integrated directly into the phone's core experience.
The NaviX Ultra has already earned industry recognition. It received the SAIL Excellence in Artificial Intelligence Leadership Award at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, signaling strong expectations for the device's role in the emerging AI‑centric smartphone category. nubia, however, has not yet disclosed specifications, pricing, or a release timeline. More details are expected to be shared during WAIC 2026.
Early promotional images reveal a device offered in black, pink, silver, and purple, each accented by a distinctive orange AI key on the frame. The rear camera adopts a horizontal layout, giving the phone a clean, symmetrical look that differs from nubia's recent designs.
It is expected that nubia's AI phone lineup will include additional models this year. The NaviX Ultra itself is reportedly planned for an overall stock of around 200,000 units, with the first batch capped below 100,000.
