The Unihertz 8849 HiKE sports a 23800 mAh battery that should provide around 150 hours of talk time and 2800 hours of standby time. It supports 120W fast charging and 10W reverse wired charging. The device is based on the new Helio G200 system-on-chip, which is like a twin of its predecessors - the Helio G100 and Helio G99. It still sports a 2.2GHz octa-core CPU and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is combined with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The camera department of the HiKE comprises a 50MP Sony IMX766 main shooter, a 64MP OmniVision OV64B Night Vision unit, an 8MP SK Hynix Hi-847 telephoto lens, and a 32MP Samsung S5KGD1 selfie snapper. The smartphone is built around a 6.78-inch IPS display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It features dual stereo speakers, an IR blaster, a headphone jack, two customizable buttons, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a USB Type-C port, blue and red alarm lights, a 1200-Lumen camping light, and a bright torch lighting up to 200 meters ahead. The model runs on Android 14 and supports NFC, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.3. Pre-sale starts September 1st on the 8849 official website.
