ETON King Power P52 - a smartphone with a high-capacity, high energy density battery

A China-based manufacturer, which has just presented the King Power P52 - one of the first smartphones with a high-capacity battery that also has a high energy density. What does that mean? Specifically, ETON's model packs a 4120 mAh battery with a volumetric energy density of 650 Wh/l, which is around 20% higher than the average standard. The manufacturer claims that the battery provides 24 hours of talk time and 38 days of standby time on a single charge. At the same time, the model retains a relatively thin waistline despite the beefy accumulator and is only 9 mm thick. Moreover, it is coupled with an FEC fast charging tech that charges the battery to the fullest in only 2.5 hours. The rest of the specifications of the ETON King Power P52 include a 5-inch HD IPS display, a 13MP primary shooter with an f/2.0 lens, and a 2MP front-facing snapper. The hardware of the model is based on a 64-bit MediaTek МТ6735 chipset with a 1GHz quad-core CPU coupled with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. The smartphone is dual-SIM and supports 2G GSM, 3G TD-SCDMA, and 4G LTE networks along with Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Hotknot, USB OTG, etc. It is priced at USD 142, but there is no word about the exact date of market launch.Source
