The Note 17 Pro is certified to an unusually high durability standard: IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K, along with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. This combination places it among the most rugged mainstream Redmi devices to date, capable of resisting dust, immersion, high‑pressure water jets, and drops. Xiaomi positions it as a "dual gold‑standard five‑star certified" device, emphasizing structural strength and environmental resistance.
At the front sits a 6.83-inch AMOLED "super sunlight display" with a resolution of 1280 x 2772 ps, 12‑bit color depth, DCI‑P3 coverage, and multiple eye‑protection modes including classic eye‑care, paper‑like eye‑care, circadian‑friendly tuning, and gaming eye‑care. The panel supports optical in‑display fingerprint unlocking, low‑light unlocking, and Wet‑Hand Touch 2.0, making it usable in more challenging conditions. TÜV Rheinland triple eye‑protection certification further reinforces its comfort‑focused design. Moreover, the screen delivers a peak brightness of 3500 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate with a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
Powering the device is a massive 9000 mAh Golden Sand River battery, paired with 67W wired fast charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging. Processing power is based on the 4nm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset with a 2.4GHz octa-core CPU. It is paired with 8GB/12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB of storage. The 128GB ROM is UFS 2.2, while the 256GB and the 512GB are of the UFS 3.1 type.
