Vivo X Fold5 is launched in China with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and a 6000 mAh battery

The displays seem to be unchanged. The inner screen of the X Fold5 has an 8.03-inch diagonal size and a 2K+ resolution (2480 x 2200 px). It sports an E7 OLED display with a peak local brightness of 4500 nits. The LTPO 8T backplane enables an adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz. The same refresh rate and backplane are provided on the cover display. The latter has a 6.53-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1172 x 2748 px and a local peak brightness of 4500 nits. Both screens are Dolby Vision and HDR10+ certified. The Vivo X Fold5 packs a dual-cell 6000 mAh battery supporting 80W dual-cell fast charging and 40W wireless fast charging. The smartphone is based on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with 12GB/16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
The rear camera department comprises three shooters co-engineered with Zeiss. With certified compliance to ZEISS T* Coating, ghost images and lens flares are significantly reduced for clearer images. The first unit is the VCS bionic 50MP Sony IMX921 main shooter with OIS and an f/1.57 aperture. The second is the 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide unit with autofocus and 119° FoV. The telephoto camera uses a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with autofocus and OIS. A 20MP resides in the top right corner of the inner display for selfies. The Vivo X Fold5 runs on OriginOS 5 (Android 15) and will go on sale in China on July 2nd priced as follows:
