Two months after announcing the ZUK Z2 Pro, the Lenovo-owned manufacturer presented the ZUK Z2. The new smartphone costs CNY 1799 (USD 274) and is based on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 MSM8996 chipset, which includes a 2.15GHz quad-core Kryo CPU, an Adreno 530 GPU and a Hexagon 680 SPU. It is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The hardware is enclosed in a 6.9mm thin body made by a high-strength glass fiber and protected from both sides by a 2.5D curved glass with oleophobic coating. On the back is mounted a 13MP ISOCELL camera by Samsung with a large 1.34um pixel, an f/2.2 lens and PDAF + CAF dual-mode focus, EIS and auxiliary sensor image stabilization. The display has a 5-inch diagonal size and an FHD LTPS panel. Under it, a fingerprint sensor is embedded in the home button, coupled with U-Touch 2.0. Power is supplied by a 3500 mAh, high-density battery with Quick Charge.
