Huawei nova 15 Max debuts with 4000‑nit OLED display and a massive 8500 mAh batteryAdd DeviceSpecifications as a preferred source on GoogleHuawei has introduced globally the nova 15 Max, a smartphone built around the idea of "maxing your fun" with a blend of bold design, high‑brightness display technology, long battery life, and durability. It happens to be a re-branded Huawei Enjoy 90 Pro Max, which is China-bound and runs on Harmony OS 3.0, while the nova 15 Max runs on EMUI 14.2.

The device features a 6.84‑inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1272 x 2756 px and capable of reaching an impressive 4000 nits peak brightness, paired with a 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and 2160 Hz PWM dimming for eye‑comfort viewing. Ultra‑slim bezels and Huawei’s signature red‑ring camera design give the phone a clean, symmetrical aesthetic, available in Blush Gold, Lake Cyan, and Golden Black.

At the core of the nova 15 Max is a 50MP RYYB ultra‑clear camera with a large 1/1.56‑inch sensor, F1.9 aperture, and QPD full‑pixel autofocus. Huawei highlights improved low‑light performance, richer detail in shadows, and AI Best Expression, which automatically selects the best facial expressions in group shots. The phone also includes symmetrical stereo speakers with a 90‑degree sound field and high‑volume output for more immersive audio.

One of the model's standout features is its 8500 mAh battery, supported by 40W SuperCharge Turbo. Huawei claims up to 48 hours of calling, 27 hours of local video playback, and 25 hours of navigation, backed by Energy Booster technology and SGS five‑star battery certification. The device also supports reverse charging for accessories.

Performance-wise, the Huawei nova 15 Max relies on the KIRIN 8000 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Durability is another focus: the phone uses a high‑strength aluminum alloy inner frame and has passed SGS five‑star drop‑resistance testing.

Rounding out the experience is Huawei's multifunctional X Button, offering instant access to smart remote controls, widgets, and quick calling. Privacy and security tools are integrated through Huawei’s Security Centre and Privacy Centre, reinforcing the brand’s emphasis on user data protection.
