Oppo Find N5 is the slimmest foldable smartphone today

Oppo Find N5 was unveiled today as the world's slimmest foldable. When unfolded the device is only 4.21 mm thick (without taking into account the camera bump). When folded, it becomes 8.93 mm thick. Both measurements are record-breaking so far. The former thinnest foldable smartphone is the Honor Magic V3. The device is available in black, purple, and white colors. It is also IPX8 nd IPX9-rated meaning it is resistant to water and hot water spraying under pressure.
Oppo Find N5 has a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with LTPO on the front. It has a resolution of 1140 x 2616 px and a 120Hz refresh rate. The inner display is also an AMOLED LTPO unit with an 8.12-inch diagonal size, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a resolution of 2248 x 2480 px. Processing power depends on a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with 12GB/16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/12G?1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. There's no place for a memory card. The 5600 mAh battery with Si/C anode supports 80W fast wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging.
The camera department comprises a 50MP Sony LYT-700 main shooter with an f/1.89 aperture and OIS. It is adjoined by a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 periscope telephoto unit with an f/2.7 aperture, OIS, and 3x optical zoom. Finally, there's an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a116-degree FoV and an f/2.2 aperture. The device also has two identical selfie snappers - one located on the outer display and one on the inner display. Each uses an 8MP sensor with an f/2.4 lens. Oppo Find N5 is equipped with stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a USB 3.1 Type-C port with DP Alt Mode. It runs on Android 15 with ColorOS 15 on top and supports NFC, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. There's a Satellite Edition as well. In China, the model is priced at CNY 8999 for the 12GB+256GB version, CNY 9999 for the 16GB+512GB variant, and CNY 10999 for the 16GB+1TB Satellite Edition.
