MetroPCS is becoming Metro by T-Mobile and introduces two new all-unlimited rate plans featuring Amazon Prime and Google OneAs of yesterday, MetroPCS has become Metro by T-Mobile and has introduced two new all-unlimited rate plans featuring Amazon Prime and Google One. The new service will be launched next month and will become the "the only U.S. prepaid wireless brand to include all the shopping and entertainment benefits of Amazon Prime … and, the first and only wireless brand to include Google One, a subscription with expanded cloud storage and mobile backup." "The number of Metro customers has doubled in the past five years for a reason… it is hands-down the best value and best experience in the prepaid category," said T-Mobile US CEO John Legere in a video blog sharing the news. "But that's not enough for us! It drives me crazy that literally millions of hard-working people are struggling to get by yet feel stuck with AT&T and Verizon because they think prepaid wireless is subpar. That’s outdated thinking! Metro by T-Mobile customers aren't making a compromise, they're REFUSING to make a compromise." You can check out the whole video below.
