Xiaomi India teases the POCO sub-brand and the Pocophone F1 ahead of the official launch in the countryXiaomi India has teased Xiaomi's POCO sub-brand and the Pocophone F1 ahead of the official announcement in the country. The local branch of the company started today the Twitter page of the sub-brand and the first post is a poster reading "POCO by Xiaomi". In addition, Jai Mani, lead product manager at Xiaomi India, shared he's been working on this project. Evidently, the Pocophone name is saved for the international markets and Poco will be the local India brand. The first smartphone from this sub-brand - Pocophone F1 - has been the subject of numerous leaks, so it is very easy to get an approximate idea of its specs sheet. For starters, it is expected to have a 5.99-inch FHD+ display and a 4000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. It will pack a Snapdragon 845 chipset with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64/128GB of storage that can be expanded. On the back of the device, there will be a 12MP+5MP camera combo, while on the front a 20MP selfie shooter will sit aided by a LED flash. A fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port and a 3.5 mm jack are on board along with support for dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, dual-band Wi-FI 802.11 ac, etc. Source
