Realme's next smartphone in India will pack a 64MP main camera

Realme's next smartphone in India will pack a 64MP main cameraCurrently, India is the main driver for the smartphone market which otherwise registers significant drops worldwide for several consecutive years. Therefore most brands target it with models that offer innovative features while retaining reasonable prices. The latest one is a future Realme smartphone that will pack a 64MP sensor for its main camera. The company's CEO, Madhav Seth, has announced on Twitter that the model will be unveiled on August 8th. The main camera will be adjoined by three other shooters on the back of the handset as per the teaser image that adjoins this announcement.

Realme competes with Redmi head to head. A week ago, Redmi announced that it has a smartphone with a 64MP primary shooter in the works as well. It will most probably use Samsung's ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor which employs a pixel-merging Tetracell technology and remosaic algorithm to produce 16MP images in low-light environments. It supports real-time HDR of up to 100-decibels (dB) for richer hues. In comparison, the dynamic range of a conventional image sensor is at around 60dB, while that of the human eye is typically considered to be around 120dB. It also supports Super PDAF and FHD video recording at 480 fps. In early May, Xiaomi announced that its upcoming Mi MIX 4 flagship will also pack a 64MP sensor but from Sony.Source
