LG withdraws from participation at MWC 2020 in BarcelonaThe Mobile World Congress (MWC) held annually in Barcelona is the most anticipated event every year for smartphone manufacturers, media and customers. However, this year's MWC is marked by the recent coronavirus outbreak. LG has just confirmed that it withdraws its participation in the exhibition which will be held at the end of February. "This decision removes the risk of exposing hundreds of LG employees to international travel which has already become more restrictive as the virus continues to spread across borders." says the press release. It continues mentiong that LG will be holding separate events in the near future to announce its 2020 mobile products. It is interesting to follow up whether there will be other companies that will withdraw their participation in the 2020 MWC.Source
