Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi K100 Pro as a performance‑driven flagship that pushes the series into new territory with cutting‑edge processing, an esports‑grade display, a massive battery, and a triple‑camera system. The device arrives in four colors - Cabernet Red, Flowing Firefly, White, and Black - and introduces several next‑generation technologies debuting on a Redmi smartphone.
At the heart of the K100 Pro is the 5th‑generation Snapdragon 8 "Supreme Edition" V Series (SM8850‑1‑AB), built on TSMC's third‑generation 3nm process. The chip features Qualcomm's latest Oryon CPU architecture, reaching clock speeds up to 4.6 GHz, paired with an Adreno GPU and the latest Qualcomm AI Engine. Xiaomi complements the main SoC with the AI Gaming Display Chip D2, a dedicated hardware accelerator enabling super‑resolution, super‑frame, and super‑HDR processing with three concurrent pipelines. This dual‑chip setup is designed to deliver smoother frame pacing, higher clarity, and more stable performance in heavy gaming scenarios. The phone supports LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, with configurations up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Xiaomi notes that UFS 4.1 support is enabled via a firmware upgrade.
The front of the Redmi K100 Pro is dominated by a 6.59‑inch AMOLED flat display with M11 luminous material, 12‑bit color depth, DCI‑P3 and BT.2020 hardware support, and Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HDR Vivid certification. The panel reaches a peak brightness of 4500 nits, drops as low as 1 nit, and features full‑brightness DC dimming. For gamers, the screen delivers a 185Hz maximum refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling, and up to 4800Hz instantaneous sampling in supported titles. Xiaomi's Qingshan Eye Protection 4.0 system adds advanced anti‑flicker and low‑blue‑light optimizations.
Inside, the K100 Pro houses Xiaomi's new Jinshajiang high‑silicon carbon battery, rated at 8580 mAh (typical). It supports 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, 27W wired reverse charging, and 22.5W wireless reverse charging, powered by the P3 charging chip and G2 battery management chip. The phone is compatible with QC2.0/3.0 and PD2.0/3.0 protocols, and ships with a 100W charger.
The camera system is another highlight. The 200MP flagship main camera uses a 1/1.56‑inch sensor, f/1.68 aperture, OIS, and 16‑in‑1 2μm fusion pixels. It is joined by a 50MP 2.5X "Golden Telephoto" with OIS, 5x lossless zoom, 60x maximum zoom, and 10cm telephoto macro, plus an 8MP ultra‑wide camera with a 112° field of view. Video recording reaches 4K at 60fps, with extensive shooting modes including dynamic photos, super night mode, HDR10+, motion tracking, long exposure, and dual‑view video. Audio is powered by dual 1115F ultra‑linear symmetrical speakers, tuned with Sound by Bose, delivering immersive stereo performance with Hi‑Res and Hi‑Res Wireless certification, Dolby Atmos, and support for AAC, LDAC, LHDC 5.0, LC3, ASHA, Auracast, and MIHC.
Connectivity includes Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, dual‑Nano SIM with 5G dual‑standby, 4x4 MIMO, HPUE, and broad global band support. Navigation covers BeiDou, GPS (L1+L5), Galileo, GLONASS, QZSS, and NavIC. The phone also integrates Xiaomi's Surge T1+ signal‑enhancement chip for improved network stability in complex environments.
