Xiaomi unveils the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G in China

In parallel to unveiling the 14T series in Europe, Xiaomi also presented the Redmi Note 14 series in China. It comprises three models - Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G, and Redmi Note 14.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G is the top model of the trio. It is built around a 3D curved AMOLED display with a 6.67-inch diagonal size and a 1.5K resolution of 1220 x 2712 px. The 12-bit display covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and has a peak brightness of 3000 nits. It has a 144Hz refresh rate with 1920 Hz PWМ dimming. The screen is HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light certified. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 is responsible for the protection. There's an in-display fingerprint sensor and a punch hole for the 20MP OmniVision OV20B selfie camera with a 4-element lens and an f/2.2 aperture. The rear camera department of the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is headed by a 50MP Sony LYT-800 shooter with an f/1.6 aperture, a 6-element lens, OIS, and 4K video recording. It is adjoined by a 50MP telephoto snapper with a 60 mm focal length equivalent, an f/2.0 aperture, and a 2.5x optical zoom. Finally, there's an 8MP ultra-wide unit with an f/2.2 aperture and a 120-degree FoV.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G is based on a Snapdragon 7s Gen 1 chipset paired with 12GB/16GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of storage. Power is supplied by a 6200 mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. The model is fitted with dual stereo speakers, a USB Type-C port, dual mics, an IR blaster, and an X-axis linear motor. It runs on Xiaomi HyperOS and supports Bluetooth 5.4, W-Fi 6, and NFC.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G has the same display as its Plus sibling as well as the same front camera. The main and ultra-wide rear shooters are also the same. However, the telephoto unit from the Plus variant is turned into a 2MP macro lens on the Redmi Note 14 Pro. This model is based on a Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset with a 2.5GHz octa-core CPU and a dual-core Mali-G615 GPU. There are 8GB/12GB of LPDDR4X RAM on board and 128GB/256GB/512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. A 5500 mAh battery keeps the lights on supporting 45W fast charging. This model is also equipped with dual stereo speakers, a USB Type-C port, dual mics, an IR blaster, and an X-axis linear motor. It runs on Xiaomi HyperOS and supports Bluetooth 5.4, W-Fi 5, and NFC.
