Oukitel WP30 Pro goes official with a Dimensity 8050 chipset

Oukitel has sent us the complete Oukitel WP30 Pro specifications. It turns out, the preliminary AliExpress listing not only listed twice as high a price but also some wrong specifications. The chipset is not a Helio G99 but the 5G-enabled MediaTek Dimensity 8050. The 6nm chip has a 3GHz octa-core CPU and a nona-core Mali-G77 GPU. It is capable of reaching >820,000 points on Antutu 10. There are 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM on board and 512GB of built-in UFS 3.1 storage. Virtual RAM expansion of up to 12GB is supported.
Another new detail - the battery is larger and is in reality with a capacity of 11000 mAh. Nevertheless, it supports 120W ultra-fast charging that is capable of restoring the battery's full charge in 50 minutes. It provides 60 hours of talk time and 1000-1300 hours of standby time.
The display data was correct. Oukitel WP30 Pro will arrive with a 6.78-inch IPS display with an FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2460 px), 1200:1 static contrast, and 480 nits of typical brightness. The display has a 120Hz refresh rate and uses in-cell technology and an IC with model ICNL9922C. It is protected by an ultra-thick - 1.1 mm Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The camera department features a 32MP Sony IMX616 selfie snapper with a 1/2.74" sensor, an f/2.2 aperture, and a 78° FoV. The main camera is based on the 108MP Samsung S5KHM2SP03 sensor paired with an f/1.88 lens with an 85.5° FoV. It supports PDAF and 4K video recording at 30 fps. There's also a 20MP Sony IMX350 Night Vision camera as well as a 5MP GalaxyCore GC5035 macro lens.
The camera module has a secondary display at its center with an octagonal shape. It serves as an auxiliary screen displaying the time, notifications, media controls, etc. This screen has a 1.8-inch OLED display panel with a resolution of 390 x 450 px, 500 nits of brightness, and a 600000:1 static contrast ratio.
Oukitel WP30 Pro is fitted with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 96 dB 1217 BOX speaker with a dual AW88394 sound amplifier, and a USB Type-C port. It runs on Android 13 and supports dual-SIM 5G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and Wi-Fi 6.
Last but not least, this rugged smartphone is IP68 and IP69K rated as well as MIL-STD-810H certified for being resistant to extreme environmental conditions. The model can survive drops from up to 1.5 m of height. It can also be soaked in 1.5 m of water for up to 30 minutes and withstand a wide range of temperatures - from -20°C to 55°C in operating mode and from -40°C to 70°C when stored.
