Lagenio Eagle Pro goes on pre-sale; a mini 5G rugged phone built around a true action cameraAdd DeviceSpecifications as a preferred source on GoogleLagenio has opened the pre‑sale for the Eagle Pro, a compact 5G rugged smartphone designed to function as a full‑scale action camera without sacrificing the everyday utility of a modern Android device. Offered in Camo Black and Camo Green, the Eagle Pro enters the market at a launch price of €399.99, a €40 reduction from its regular €439.99 price, with shipments scheduled between June 20 and June 30. The device positions itself as a hybrid tool for creators, travelers, and outdoor professionals who want a single device that can shoot stabilized 4K video, withstand harsh environments, and stay fully connected via 5G.

Despite its miniature footprint - 114.5 x 59.6 x 23 mm and just 210 g - the Eagle Pro is built to withstand real‑world abuse. It carries IP68 and IP69K water and dust resistance, MIL‑STD‑810H certification, and can survive 1.5‑meter drops onto concrete. Its operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C ensures reliability in both winter expeditions and summer heat, while glove mode allows operation in cold environments. The rugged shell is combined with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 over a 4.0‑inch Incell display running at 120Hz, offering 550 nits of brightness and a compact 84% screen‑to‑body ratio that makes the phone easy to mount on helmets, handlebars, backpacks, or tripods.

At the center of the Eagle Pro's identity is its camera system. The ultra‑wide action camera uses a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with a 1/2‑inch sensor size, f/2.8 aperture, and a sweeping 152.6‑degree field of view, capable of recording up to 4K at 30 fps. It is important to note that the default setting uses basic stabilization. Users can choose to enable Super Stabilization, but this will slightly reduce the wide-angle field of view. Lagenio's proprietary imaging pipeline includes horizon leveling, real‑time distortion correction, and a self‑developed stabilization algorithm designed to keep footage smooth during intense motion.

The main camera complements the action unit with a 50MP SK Hynix HI-5021Q sensor, f/1.8 aperture, autofocus, and its own 4K recording capabilities, while the 32MP front camera captures 1080p video at 60 fps. The company highlights that the device can record up to 230 minutes of continuous 4K video thanks to its 3700 mAh battery and efficient thermal management, supported by 33W fast charging and 5W reverse charging.

А dedicated Underwater Camera Mode allows users to capture photos and videos when touch controls stop working underwater. To activate the mode, users open the Quick Settings panel and tap the Underwater Camera button. Once enabled, the touchscreen is disabled and all camera operations rely on physical buttons. Users can take photos, record videos, and switch between the front and rear cameras using combinations of the volume keys. Of course, for best results, all waterproof seals should be closed, the device should be rinsed after saltwater use, and shooting in clear water is recommended.

Underwater Mode expands the Eagle Pro’s versatility by enabling shooting in environments where touchscreens fail. Once activated, the phone disables touch input and switches to a physical‑button interface, allowing users to take photos, record video, and switch cameras underwater or in heavy rain. With IP68/IP69K protection and the ability to withstand 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes, the device is positioned as a reliable companion for pool sessions, shallow‑water exploration, and wet‑weather adventures.

Beyond its camera capabilities, the Eagle Pro is a full Android 16 smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset built on a 4nm process. Its octa‑core CPU combines four Cortex‑A78 cores at 2.5GHz with four Cortex‑A55 cores at 2.0GHz, paired with a Mali‑G615 GPU for smooth graphics performance. The device includes 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, expandable to 36GB with virtual memory, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage with support for microSD expansion up to 1TB. Connectivity is equally comprehensive, offering tri‑band Wi‑Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS with L1 and L5 support, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, and full global 4G and 5G band coverage. Dual SIM functionality allows users to choose between two nano SIMs or one SIM and a microSD card.

The Eagle Pro also integrates features that enhance daily use, including a side‑mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, a 92dB BOX speaker, a notification light, and Widevine L1 certification for HD streaming on major platforms. Its outdoor toolbox includes a compass, ruler, level, flashlight, alarm, and magnifier, reinforcing its role as an all‑scenario device. A universal 1/4‑inch screw mount built directly into the chassis ensures compatibility with accessories from GoPro, DJI, and third‑party brands, covering everything from helmet and chest mounts to suction cups and pet harnesses.
