Pixel 9 Pro Fold is one of the thinnest foldable mobile devices with a waistline of 5.1 mm when unfolded and features a big and bright Super Actua Flex display with an 8.0315-inch diagonal size, a resolution of 2152 x 2076 px, and a dynamic refresh rate of 1-120Hz thanks to the LTPO backplane. According to Google, it is 80% brighter than the screen on the Pixel Fold. The reported HDR brightness is 1600 nits and the peak local brightness is 2700 nits. The outer display uses a 6.3-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2424 pixels. It supports a refresh rate from 60Hz to 120Hz. The HDR brightness is 1800 nits and the peak local one is 2700 nits. The outer display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. In addition to being very thin, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold has an IPX8 rating for water resistance of up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes of submersion.
A 4650 mAh battery power the device and ensures up to 72-hour battery life with Extreme Battery Saver. It supports 45W fast charging and Qi wireless charging. The Tensor G4 siits at the core of the device paired with 16GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of storage. The camera department comprises a 48MP main shooter with an f/1.7 aperture and quad PDAF. It is adjoined by a 10.5MP dual PDAF ultra-wide unit with an f/2.2 aperture and a 10.8MP dual PDAF telephoto lens with an f/3.1 aperture. Their work is aided by a multi-zone LDAF sensor, a spectral and flicker sensor. All three cameras support OIS and EIS. There are two identical selfie cameras - one on the outer display and one on the inner screen. Each uses a 10MP sensor with an f/2.2 lens and autofocus.
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is equipped with a USB Type-C 3.2 port, stereo speakers with spatial audio support, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It runs on Android 14 with seven years of OS, security, and Pixel Drop updates, supporting Wi-Fi 7, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.3. The price of the model in the UK for the 512GB version is GBP 1749. In Europe, it is priced at EUR 1899 and in the US - USD 1799.
