Vivo, MediaTek, Intel withdraw from MWC 2020A month ago, Vivo said that it will present its Vivo Apex 2020 concept smartphone at the MWC 2020. However, due to the coronavirus outbreak, Vivo has decided to withdraw its participation in the MWC 2020. Here's Vivo statement on the matter:

"Vivo has always closely monitored the development of the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic situation and dynamically evaluated various activities on its impact. In view of the scope and extent of the epidemic at this stage, in order to maintain employee health and public safety, Vivo has decided to cancel MWC 2020-related display and release activities. The APEX 2020 concept device that was originally planned to be displayed during the MWC will still meet you in the near future, and we will update the information as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding of the partners, media and consumers who are following Vivo. We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause."

Other companies that join LG, Sony, Ericsson, NTT Docomo, NVIDIA, and Amazon in their decision not to participate are MediaTek and Intel. On the other hand, TCL (cancelled press conference), Xiaomi and ZTE confirmed they will take part in MWC 2020 at the end of the month.
