This Moto Mod is sold separately and currently costs $37.49. The smartphone itself packs a 3000 mAh battery paired with a 5V/3A fast charger. In case you want to enjoy stereo sound you might want to snap the Moto Stereo Speaker on. It uses the phone's battery so you don't have to charge it, ever. You can combine the Moto Z3 Play with any Moto Mod you need. The device itself is built around a 6-inch Super AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass. The aluminium alloy body is only 6.75 mm thin (not counting the camera bump on the rear). It also has a water-repellent coating that protects the handset from spills, splashes, or a little rain. Moto Z3 Play is equipped with two rear cameras. The main one packs a 12MP sensor, while the second is equipped with a 5MP sensor for depth. The cameras arrive with all Google Lens tools, like text translation and object recognition. They are aided by a dual-LED flash and PDAF. The rear cameras support cinemagraphs. You can take live photos by capture the motion around you or freeze a moment in a video while keeping part of the shot animated, for a unique combination of photo and GIF. Both the 8MP front and 12MP rear cameras support portrait mode with blurred background. Manual control, cutout mode, spot colour and many others are also provided. The Moto 360 Camera Mod will further enhance your camera department. Moto Z3 Play supports onscreen gestures, so you can ditch the onscreen navigation bar to maximize screen real estate. The device arrives with a beta version of Moto Voice that lets you use hands-free commands to control your favourite apps and get answers to complicated, multi-part questions. The device features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It can be used not only for unlocking the smartphone but also for authenticating payments and unlocking apps. Face unlock is supported as well by the front camera. The smartphone is based on a Snapdragon 636 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of expandable storage.
