Vivo X200, X200 mini, and Vivo X200 Pro go official in China, debut for the Dimensity 9400 chipset

The most interesting part is that this series of smartphones is the debut of the Dimensity 9400 chipset on the market. This chip powers all three models and on each device, it is paired with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB of UFS 4.0 storage without the option to expand the latter. The chipset sports a 3.626GHz octa-core CPU and a 12-core Immortalis-G925 GPU. All three models run on OriginOS 5 based on Android 15, have an IP69 rating for water, dust, and drop resistance, and support Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, and NFC. Every device is also fitted with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a USB Type-C port. On the vanilla and mini models it is a Type-C 2.0 port, while on the Pro model, this is a USB Type-C 3.2 port with power delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode.

Vivo X200 Pro is the biggest model of the three, built around a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1260 x 2800 px. The 10-bit screen covers 100% of the DCI-p3 color space and delivers a local peak brightness of 4500 nits. The LTPO backplane enables an adaptive refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. 2160 PWM dimming for eye protection is also specified. The camera department is headed by a 50MP Sony LYT-818 shooter with an f/1.57 aperture, 1.22 μm pixels size, 23 mm focal length equivalent, and OIS. There's a 200MP telephoto unit with a Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor, an f/2.67 lens, and 85 mm focal length equivalent. It supports OIS, 3.7x optical zoom, and macro shooting. The third rear camera is a 50MP ultra-wide unit most probably using a Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor and an f/2.0 aperture. The selfie snapper uses a 32MP sensor and an f/2.0 lens. Vivo X200 features a smaller, 6.67-inch AMOLED display with the same resolution and rest of specs as the Pro model. The battery's capacity has been slightly reduced to 5800 mAh. The 90W charging is retained but there's no wireless charging support. The camera department comprises a 50MP Sony IMX921 main shooter with OIS, a 50MP telephoto unit with OIS and 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The front shooter retains the 32MP sensor from the Pro model. The smallest model of the series is no less impressive. It simply packs a punch in a smaller form factor. The Vivo X200 mini has a 6.31-inch AMOLED display with a resolution fo a 1216 x 2650 pixels, 10-bit color bit depth, 4500 nits of local peak brightness, 1-120Hz refresh rate, and 2160 PWM dimming. The camera department is similar to that of the vanilla model but the main shooter uses a different 50MP sensor - the Sony LYT-818 one with OIS. The rest includes a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide unit, and a 32MP selfie snapper.
