Honor presented the Honor 300 series in China. It comprises three models - the Honor 300 Ultra, Honor 300 Pro, and the Honor 300. The design of the trio of devices takes its inspiration from a traveler's viewpoint and is dubbed a "wilderness porthole" as it allows users to explore the beauty of nature and capture eclectic snapshots of an array of distinctive landscapes on the go. Each color of the Honor 300 Series is closely related to traditional Chinese aesthetics, resembling an interweaving of traditional and modern beauty. The design perfectly inherits the natural, flowing curves of the past generations, which reflects a commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail. By integrating elements inspired by nature's elegance and cutting-edge technology, the series offers users devices that are both visually appealing and ergonomically comfortable.
The Honor 300 Series stands out by introducing a groundbreaking approach that leverages the power of the AI Honor Image Engine. Using AI to learn portrait photography techniques from Harcourt Portrait, the Honor 300 Series allows users to easily shoot professional-level Harcourt portraits regardless of indoor and outdoor, day and night, side-light and backlight conditions. Meanwhile, the Honor 300 Series provides users with a complete DSLR-grade background bokeh effect from shooting to post-editing, making every portrait shoot more professional.
Designed as a perfect tool for travel photography, the Honor 300 Series also offers users an unparalleled imaging experience, where they can leverage a wealth of AI tools, such as AI Outpainting and AI Eraser, for efficient and creative operations. Additionally, the LivePhoto function allows users to capture vivid live moments in 3 seconds, where HD dynamic photos of 2K resolution carrying their vibrant traveling moments can be shared on mainstream social media platforms.
All three Honor 300 devices feature a 50MP main shooter with an f/1.95 aperture, OIS, and 4K video recording plus a 12MP ultra-wide snapper. Each also has a 50MP selfie snapper with an f/2.1 aperture and 4K video recording. The Honor 300 Ultra adds a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with an f/3.0 aperture and OIS, while the Honor 300 Pro has a telephoto camera with an f/2.4 aperture and OIS. The Ultra and Pro versions also boast secondary front-camera lenses for depth sensing.
The Honor 300 is built around a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 4000 nits of peak local brightness. The Pro and Ultra models have 3D curved AMOLED displays with a 6.78-inch diagonal size, FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 4000 nits of peak local brightness. The Ultra uses a Giant Rhino Glass for protection. Combined with 3840Hz PWM dimming technology5 and AI Defocus function, the Honor 300 Series provides a comprehensive visual experience for users. The Honor 300 Ultra further supports a Circular Polarized Display, which brings users a comfortable visual experience similar to natural light.
The Honor 300 Series debuts the Motion Sickness Relief display feature designed to alleviate motion sickness discomfort, ensuring users a comfortable visual experience even while on the move. Further, HONOR 300 Ultra is equipped with industry-leading 3D ultrasonic fingerprint unlocking and HONOR NanoCrystal Shield, bringing users a smoother and safer operating experience. Each of the three models packs a 5300 mAh battery with Silicon-Carbon anode with 100W fast charging for the vanilla and Ultra versions and 80W fast charging for the Pro version. The Pro and Ultra versions support 80W wireless charging.
In terms of processing power, the Honor 300 is based on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, while the other two models are based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip with various combinations of RAM and storage - from 8GB to 16GB and 256GB to 1TB, respectively. Each runs on MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15. The HONOR 300 Series is available in six colorways. Prices in China start from 2299 RMB, making this innovative series accessible to consumers seeking cutting-edge technology combined with exceptional value.
