Huawei MatePad Air goes official with a 2.8K 144Hz display, Snapdragon 888, 40W fast charging

Huawei MatePad Air has been officially launched in China. The tablet has an LTE version - Huawei MatePad Air LTE with model code DBY2-AL00 and a Wi-Fi version - Huawei MatePad Air Wi-Fi with model code DBY2-W00.
The tablet has an elegant and slim design with pastel color options including light blue, purple, white, green, and gray that's called Obsidian Black. The body houses an 8300 mAh battery with 40W fast charging support, yet, it manages to maintain a slim profile at 6.4 mm. The slate weighs 508 g. The front is adorned with an 11.5-inch IPS display with a 2.8K resolution (2800 x 1844 px). The display has an adaptive refresh rate from 30Hz to 144Hz and is HDR Vivid certified. There are four speakers with Huawei Histen 8.0 as well as four microphones suitable for recording as well.
Huawei MatePad Air is equipped with an 8MP selfie camera with a 105-degree FoV and an f/2.2 aperture. On the back, there's a 13MP camera with an f/1.8 aperture and 4K video recording. The processing power of the tablet depends on a Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB of storage. The model also has a USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 port with DisplayPort Alt Mode. It supports Huawei M Pencil 2 and other accessories such as a keyboard cover. The pricing is set as follows:
