Oppo K12 Plus goes official in China with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip and a 6400 mAh battery

Oppo K12 Plus (PKS110) was unveiled in China. It is a minor upgrade over the Oppo K12 (PJR110) which was unveiled back in April. The obvious differences. The new model has a different colorway - Basalt Black and Snow Peak White. It also packs a larger battery - up to 6400 mAh in capacity. At the same time, the charging speed is decreased to 80W. Everything else seems to be the same.
The Oppo K12 Plus has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, an FHD+ resolution, and a 1100 peak brightness. Furthermore, the device has passed the tests of two major ophthalmology centers and the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology. The self-developed diamond structure has increased the drop angle to six sides and four corners, providing all-round drop protection. The "safety airbag" design with an anti-scratch film and anti-drop shell ensures a safe "soft landing" even if the phone accidentally falls. The model is also IP54-rate for dust and water resistance.
The smartphone comprises three cameras. The main rear shooter uses a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with OIS and a 5-element lens with an f/1.8 aperture. It can capture 4K videos at 30 fps. There's an 8MP ultra-wide unit on the back as well employing a Sony IMX355 sensor. A 16MP selfie camera resides in the punch hole in the display using an f/2.4 lens. In addition, the device has dual stereo speakers, an X-axis linear motor, an IR blaster, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a USB Type-C port.
Processing power is based on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset paired with 8GB/12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB/512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device runs on ColorOS 14 based on Android 14 and supports Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), and NFC. The Oppo K12 Plus is priced as follows:
