Tianma starts the construction of its 6th Generation flexible AMOLED production line at full capacityTianma has started the construction of its 6th Generation flexible AMOLED production line. The investment for this project was announced in August last year and it will take 48 billion yuan to build the new production line on an area of 1500 acres. The facility will help Tianma to rank among the top three in the world in the production of flexible AMOLED displays. The substrate size will be 1500 x 1850 mm and the production line is designed for 480 flexible display substrates per month. The construction period is expected to be 30 months. Tianma is a leading global manufacturer of small and medium-sized panels, and currently has 11 panel production lines.Source
