Mi Concept Phone a.k.a. Mi MIX - the future is hereAlong with the Mi Note 2 and the Mi VR headset, Xiaomi presented the Mi Concept Phone a.k.a. Mi MIX. It has an edge-to-edge display with a 6.4-inch diagonal size and provides 91.3% screen-to-body ratio. Xiaomi has customized the front camera module, which takes 50% less space and has placed at the bottom bezel. In order to use it as a regular front-facing camera, you can rotate the smartphone upside down. The company has also found a solution for the proximity sensor. The MIX has pioneered the use of ultrasonic sensors to replace the traditional infrared distance sensor. It also employs a cantilevered piezoelectric ceramic sound guide technology to replace the traditional speaker-style handset. In order to save space, Xiaomi uses a hidden virtual button design with custom 17: 9 display, without sacrificing the screen experience. The device has a complete ceramic body, the frame and buttons are ceramic, too. In order to solve the problem with joining the back and front together, Xiaomi employs a tenon-style connection pattern! The gorgeous sleek design is made by one of the world's most renowned designers - Philippe Starck. Specswise, Mi MIX is based on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset coupled with 4/6GB of RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 2.0 internal memory. It is powered by a 4400 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and provides 192kHz/24bit high-definition audio. The smartphone supports 4G+ Cat. 6 networks, NFC, and SAP GPS. It also features a 16MP primary shooter with a dual-tone LED flash and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
