Meizu 21 Note goes official in China with a flagship display and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipThree months ago, Meizu announced it would leave the smartphone market after 17 years. It seems the brand has prepared a beautiful farewell device for its fans - the Meizu 21 Note. As usual, it will be available in China only, in dark gray and white colors. The model runs on Flyme AIOS - the first edition of Meizu's new OS that's dedicated to AI services - the new Meizu point of focus and future development. The Meizu 21 Note is built around a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 10-bit color bit depth, a 1.5K resolution of 1264 x 2780 px, and an 8T LTPO backplane enabling dynamic 1-144Hz refresh rate. 2160Hz PWM dimming is also supported along with 5000 cd/m² peak brightness. Processing power is based on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with a 5000 sq.mm² VC cooling system, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 256GB/512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The latter cannot be expanded. A 5500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging keeps the lights on. The camera department includes a 50MP main shooter with an f/1.68 aperture and a 24 mm focal length equivalent, a 13MP ultra-wide snapper with a 112-degree FoV, and a 16MP selfie camera. Meizu 21 Note costs CNY 2599 for the 256GB version and CNY 2799 for the 512GB variant.
