Infinix Zero 40 5G and Infinix Zero 40 4G debuted globally today with almost identical design and ultimately different specifications.
Infinix Zero 40 5G specifications
Infinix Zero 40 5G is built around a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2436 px) and an LTPS backplane technology. It supports up to a 144Hz refresh rate with a 1500 Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate. The screen delivers a peak local brightness of 1300 cd/m² and supports 2304 HZ PWM dimming. It is also Widevine L1+ and TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certified. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 is used for protecting the display and the rear shell. The smartphone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging, 20W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wired charging support. The processing power is based on a MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra (MT6896ZB) chipset with 12Gb of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512Gb of UFS 3.1 storage.The Zero 40 5GB camera department is headed by a 108MP Samsung S5KHM6 shooter with a 6-element lens and an f/1.75 aperture. It supports OIS, EIS, and 4K video recording at 60 fps. The second rear camera is a 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 ultra-wide unit with an f/2.0 aperture, 5-element lens, and PDAF. It is also capable of recording 4K videos at 30 fps. Finally, there's a 2MP macro lens. On the front, a 16MP selfie snapper is used for selfies with an f/2.45 aperture. The two rear and the front cameras support 4K Vlog ProStable video shooting aided by various built-in templates for vlogging. The model has an in-display fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster, dual stereo speakers with DTS and Hi-Res Audio, a USB Type-C port, and a headphone jack. It runs on XOS 14.5 based on Android 14 and supports Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6E, and NFC.

Infinix Zero 40 4G also has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2436 px) and an LTPS backplane technology. However, it supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2160 Hz PWM dimming. The battery also has the same capacity and charging capabilities except for lacking wireless charging support. A MediaTek Helio G100 chipset ticks under the hood of the Zero 40 4G paired with 8GB of LPPDR4X RAM and 256GB/512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The camera department of the 4G model is almost entirely identical to that of the 5G device, however, it supports video recording and vlogging up to 2K. The stereo speakers, headphone jack, IR blaster, USB port, and in-display fingerprint sensor are retained. The wireless connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac).
