Honor Magic3, Magic 3 Pro, and Magic3 Pro+ are unveiled

Honor Magic3, Magic 3 Pro, and Magic3 Pro+ are unveiledHonor has just unveiled the Magic3 series of flagship smartphones. The top-specced one is the Honor Magic3 Pro+. It is built around a 6.67-inch Flex OLED display with 89-degree curved edges, FHD+ resolution, 10-bit color bit depth, and a 120Hz refresh rate. An oval punch hole houses the 13MP front camera with a 100-free FoV and a 3D ToF sensor next to it. The rear camera department features five shooters. The main camera uses a 50MP Sony IMX700 sensor with 1.22-micron pixels and a 1/1.28-inch optical size. It is adjoined by a 64MP ultra-wide camera with a 1/2" optical size and an f/2.4 aperture. The third unit is a 64MP monochrome shooter with an f/1.8 aperture. The fourth one uses a 64MP sensor as well but combined with a telephoto lens with 3.5 optical zoom. There's a fifth lens - an 8x8 dToF shooter for portraits. A dual-tone LED flash is provided as well. All this is placed inside a hexagonally shaped module. The cameras also feature video editing tools that are IMA Enhanced certified. The Honor Magic3 Pro+ is based on a Snapdragon 888+ chipset and is powered by a 4600 mAh battery with 66W SuperCharge fast charging. The model is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance.

The Honor Magic3 Pro has the same display, chipset, and battery as its "+" sibling align with the same IP68 rating. The main changes are in the rear camera department. The model has a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera with an f/1.9 aperture, 1/1.56-inch sensor, and 1-micron pixels. It is adjoined by a 64MP periscope telephoto unit with a 3.5 optical zoom, a 64MP monochrome unit, an 8x8 dToF sensor for portraits, and a 13MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

The Honor Magic3 also has the same display and battery plus a Snapdragon 888 SoC. Again, the camera department on the rear shell makes all the difference omitting the periscope telephoto and dToF units. It has an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.

All three models from the Honor Magic3 series run o Magic UI 5 on top of Android 11 with Google Mobile Services. The Magic3 is available in Black and White color with glass rear shells as well as in Golden Hour and Blue Hour colors with faux leather rear shells. Its price starts at EUR 8999. The Magic3 Pro is available in Golden Hour and Blue Hour colors and its price starts at EUR 1099. Finally, the Magic3 Pro+ is available in Ceramic White and Ceramic Black, priced at EUR 1499 for the only option with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
