Qualcomm unveils the Snapdragon 778G Plus, Snapdragon 695, Snapdragon 480 Plus, and Snapdragon 680 chipsetsQualcomm announced four new chipsets today - the Snapdragon 778G Plus 5G, Snapdragon 695 5G, Snapdragon 480 Plus 5G, and Snapdragon 680 4G. Noteworthy brands such as HMD Global (Nokia), Honor, Motorola, OPPO, Vivo, and Xiaomi have already confirmed they will use them in upcoming smartphones.

The Snapdragon 778G Plus, a follow-on to Snapdragon 778G with boosted GPU and CPU performance, is designed to deliver cutting-edge mobile gaming and accelerated artificial intelligence (AI) to enable stunning photo and video experiences. The upgraded Kryo 670 CPU and Adreno 642L GPU offer powerful, fast computing aided by an efficient 6nm process. Plus, Quick Charge 4+ delivers an astonishing 0-50% charge in just fifteen minutes. The boosted Adreno 642L GPU works in tandem with select Snapdragon Elite Gaming features—including Qualcomm® Game Quick Touch for 20% faster responses and Variable Rate Shading (VRS) for rich graphics that won’t drain power. The 6th Gen Qualcomm AI Engine includes the 2nd Gen Qualcomm Sensing Hub, always-aware and capable of processing at less than 1 mA of power.
