Samsung has expanded its flagship lineup with the debut of the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE. This device is built to deliver the core Galaxy S experience in a thinner, lighter form while introducing One UI 9 to the FE series for the first time.
For starters, the Galaxy S26 FE arrives with a more capable camera system. On the rear, the Galaxy S26 FE carries a triple setup: a 12MP ultra‑wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 123‑degree field of view, a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, an f/1.8 aperture, and an 84‑degree field of view, and an 8MP telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom, up to 30x digital zoom, OIS, an f/2.4 aperture, and a 32‑degree FoV. On the front, a 12MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture and an 85‑degree field of view captures more in every frame, making group shots easier.
Samsung is also bringing advanced camera software to the FE line. My FanCam, first introduced on the latest Galaxy foldables, is now available on Galaxy S26 FE, automatically tracking a selected person and keeping them centred while intelligently reframing video as the scene moves. Super Steady with Horizontal Lock helps users capture smoother, more level footage during fast‑moving activities and travel moments. Photo Assist allows images to be refined using natural language prompts - turning day into night, adding new elements, or restoring missing parts - while keeping edits reversible step by step. Gemini Omni can automatically create and edit video clips from photos and videos in the Gallery, turning everyday moments into polished, ready‑to‑share content.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is powered by a 4900 mAh battery with 45W fast charging and wireless charging support, reaching close to 70% in around half an hour. The 3nm Exynos 2500 processor ticks under the hood, paired with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB, depending on configuration. The 6.7‑inch AMOLED display offers up to a 120Hz refresh rate and 1900‑nit brightness, making it suitable for streaming, gaming and creative work.
The device ships with Android 17 and One UI 9 and is backed by seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. Samsung Care+ provides additional protection with fast repairs and expert support, now easier to manage through the new Warranty and care hub in One UI 9. Buyers also receive a six‑month trial of Google AI Pro, unlocking expanded AI tools and 5TB of cloud storage.
Galaxy AI plays a larger role throughout the interface. Now Brief becomes more personalised with customisable cards and user‑generated prompts, while Now Nudge expands to select third‑party apps, offering timely suggestions that help streamline daily routines. Circle to Search with Google gains the ability to identify multiple items within a single image, making visual search more powerful and efficient.
The Galaxy S26 FE arrives on September 4 in Blueberry, Graphite, and Pistachio, with storage options ranging from 128GB to 512GB paired with 8GB of RAM. It features an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, Wi‑Fi 6E, 5G connectivity, and NFC. In the U.S. prices start at USD 700.
