Add DeviceSpecifications as a preferred source on GoogleSamsung's M‑series has long been defined by longevity, and the newly listed Samsung Galaxy M47 5G pushes that identity further with a hardware package centered on efficiency and durability. The device is based on a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset - a 4 nm platform combining four 2.4GHz Cortex‑A78 cores with four 1.8GHz Cortex‑A55 efficiency cores. Paired with Adreno 710 graphics and either 6 GB or 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, the phone positions itself as a capable everyday performer with enough headroom for multitasking and media consumption. Storage options of 128 GB and 256 GB are complemented by microSD expansion, preserving one of the line's most user‑friendly traits.
The front of the Samsung Galaxy M47 5G is dominated by a 6.7‑inch Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. Samsung's Vision Booster and high‑brightness mode push the panel up to 1400 nits at 100% APL, ensuring visibility even under harsh sunlight. The 6000 mAh Li‑Polymer unit supports fast charging at 45W equivalent output and includes bypass charging, a feature increasingly appreciated by users who game or stream for long periods. Despite its large screen and 6000 mAh battery, the phone maintains a slim 7.8 mm profile and a 200 g weight, offered in Blaze Blue and Roque Red finishes with IP64 certification and drop resistance from up to 2 meters of height.
Photography is led by a 50MP main camera with OIS, supported by a 5MP ultra‑wide and a 2MP macro module. The front camera delivers 12 MP stills and 1080p video, with face unlock and detection features integrated into One UI 8.5 on top of Android 16. Samsung promises up to 6 years of OS and security upgrades. Connectivity is extensive: dual‑SIM standby, Wi‑Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and USB Type‑C. The EU SAR head value is 0.496 W/kg and the body SAR is 0.977 W/kg. For India, the head SAR is 0.87 W/kg. The device is also fitted with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Market launch is scheduled for July 4th.
