Realme X2 Pro is finally official, prices start at USD 367With so many smartphones launched by one and the same companies lately, it is very difficult to distinguish them from one another. Realme X2 Pro is one such example. The brand that was meant to offer affordable mid-range smartphones seriously stepped in the higher mid-range realm with its latest models. The heavily teased Realme X2 Pro looks and feels a lot like OnePlus 7/7T. It has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 135Hz sampling rate. It supports HDR10 and 100% of the DCI-P3 colour space. The display features a Goodix 3.0 under-display optical fingerprint sensor.

Just like the OnePlus 7T, the Realme X2 Pro packs a Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset paired to a vapour chamber cooling system with a graphene sheet. It is aided by HyperBoost 2.0, Touch Boost 2.0, etc. The RAM+storage configurations are as follows: 6GB+64GB UFS 2.1, 8GB+128GB UFS 3.0, 12GB+256GB UFS 3.0. The model features a 4000 mAh battery that arrives with a 50W SuperVOOC fast charger. A definite advantage is the USB Power Delivery and Qualcomm QuickCharge support. Moreover, the handset is equipped with a Tactile Linear Motor ultra-linear dual speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio.

It is the camera department that's a bit more different. There are four rear shooters on the Realme X2 Pro headed by the 64MP Samsung SK5GW1 with an f/1.8 aperture. The second unit is a 13MP telephoto snapper with 2x optical zoom. The third camera packs an 8MP sensor and a 115° ultra-wide-angle lens. It can shoot in macro mode and 720p videos at 960 fps (slow motion). The fourth unit has a 2MP depth-sensor. None of the cameras is optically stabilized. There's EIS for up to 4K videos. The selfie camera packs a 16MP sensor.

Realme X2 Pro uses Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for the front and back and an aluminium alloy frame. It is available in Poseidon and Luna colours. The model has a Master Edition crafted by Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa whose signature sits on the backplate. This edition is available in Red Brick and Cement colours. The finish has been achieved by creating a special RP paint with industry-leading lacquered glass spray method, 32 sand-blasting processes and final layer of smooth glass. Using the PicoSure laser technology of nanochip manufacturing, the signature and Realme logo are engraved with high precision on the matte finish. The finest point of the pen is only 0.09 mm, which makes the most shining place appear the most detailed.

The Realme X2 Pro may be pre-ordered as of today and actual sales will begin on October 17. The prices are as follows:
