ZTE unveiled the nubia Neo 3 5G and nubia Neo 3 GT 5G at MWC 2025

ZTE presented the new nubia Neo 3 series at the MWC 2025 in Barcelona. The series comprises two models, both featuring a unique cyber-mecha design. The rear shell is dominated by sharp lines, which on the GT version are combined with Mini LED and RGB Lights in neon colors and a nearly-flat camera island. The vanilla model has RGB lights and a protruding camera module. Each of the models has dual gaming shoulder triggers, providing precise and optimized control for an elevated gaming experience.

The nubia Neo 3 GT 5G boasts a 6.8-inch OLED display with an FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2392 px) and a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, it delivers 1200Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate and 1300 nits of peak brightness. A 6000 mAh battery keeps the lights on, supporting 80W fast wired charging and bypass charging. The latter means it draws power directly from the charger, reducing heat and extending battery life. Equipped with a 4083 mm² large VC cooling panel, it ensures effective thermal management, maintaining consistent peak performance for a smooth, lag-free gaming experience. The nubia Neo 3 GT 5G is based on the Unisoc T9100 5G SoC. That's the new name of the Unisoc Tiger T820 chipset after Unisoc renamed all of its products. The chip is paired with nubia's NeoTurbo engine, which utilizes AI algorithms for intelligent scene recognition and automatic optimization, delivering enhanced performance and efficiency. There are 12GB of RAM that can be virtually expanded with 12GB more for a total of 24GB. The device also has an AI Gaming Space with an AI Gaming Companion, AI Trigger, AI Behavioral Learning, and many other functions. AI is strongly present in the photography department via nubia's Neovision AI Photography System. There are plenty of AI-powered shooting modes such as the AI Super Night, AI Sport Snapshot, AI HDR, and AI Magic Editor. The nubia Neo 3 5G also has a 6.8-inch display but with 800 nits of maximum brightness and 1000 nits of peak brightness. It is based on the Unisoc T8300 chipset and delivers all AI features available for the GT version. The SoC's work is aided by a multi-layered heat dissipation system comprising high-performance materials for rapid cooling. The RAM measures 8GB and can be virtually expanded with up to 12GB. Power is supplied by a 6000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging and bypass charging support. The camera department of this device comprises a 50MP main shooter, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 16MP selfie snapper working with the Neovision AI Photography System.Pricing and availability are not announced yet.
