This device had a lot of great features. The build was nice. The materials feel quite premium for the price. However, the device suffers from battery life performance and water resistance. Sadly it took only laying this phone on a counter that had some moisture and water laying on it too kill this device. Using rice helped get back a few times, but eventually a screen replacement was in order. Unfortunately, the repair-ability on this phone is not great. Replacing the screen was very difficult, and unfortunately the phone did not work correctly after putting it back together. The screen to body ratio was amazing. The battery life was great. And although the processor was not top tier, it did not seem to struggle too much, although it did hit hitches with several apps open that I did not hit with my S8 active. The screen got really bright and the teardrop notch was very unobtrusive. I would say this device is not great as an all-rounder, but if you spend most of your time taking in videos and content, this phone is great for that. Just keep it away from sinks, bathtubs, wet countertops in the kitchen, and a moist raincoat on a rainy day and you should be good.
