Overview

Cubot Max 5 is a smartphone that compliments the brand in many ways and is a solid step up for Cubot in the right direction. For starters, there's the attractive design and the comfortable handheld experience despite the huge display with a fast refresh rate. The screen is very fluent with excellent viewing angles and good brightness. The chipset delivers an upper-mid-range performance and the camera department is very good. Specifications

Cubot Max 5 features a big, 6.95-inch IPS display with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2460. The screen supports up to a 144Hz refresh rate. It has a punch hole in the top center for the 32MP Sony IMX616 selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture. The rear camera department is headed by a 100MP OmniVision OVA0B40 shooter with an f/1.8 aperture and a 6-element lens. There's also a 5MP OmniVision OV5670 macro lens with autofocus and a 0.3MP depth sensor. The smartphone is powered by a 5100 mAh battery with 33W fast charging, while processing power is based on a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 (MT6896Z) system-on-chip.
