After more than two years of co‑development with Samsung, iQOO has introduced the Samsung 2K M14 LEAD OLED Display on the iQOO 15. Combining Samsung's latest M14 light‑emitting material with next‑generation 2K LEAD OLED technology, the display delivers major gains in brightness, eye comfort, efficiency, and durability.
The new 2K LEAD OLED panel boosts emissive efficiency by 40% and pushes brightness to new highs: 6000‑nit local peak, 2600‑nit global peak, and 1000‑nit manual full‑screen brightness. A Triple Ambient Light Sensor ensures smooth brightness transitions, while a 98.1% first‑frame brightness ratio and 60% reduction in motion blur improve clarity during fast movement. With an 18% wider color gamut and Dolby Vision certification, the iQOO 15 delivers vivid, lifelike visuals for both media and gaming.
The device also introduces a polarization‑free "natural light" display structure, replacing the traditional polarizer with a Nano‑Photolithography Filter Film. This redesign produces more natural light output and reduces eye strain, cutting redness by 50%, increasing tear film stability by 85%, and lowering micro‑fluctuation by 51%. TÜV Rheinland certifications reinforce its focus on eye health. A minimum brightness of 1 nit and upgraded Comfortable Eye Protection 2.0 support comfortable viewing day and night, with dedicated Esports and Soothing modes tailored for long gaming sessions.
Built using high‑precision lithography equipment, the LEAD panel achieves ultra‑accurate alignment across more than ten million sub‑pixel apertures, improving transparency, reducing power consumption by 44%, and extending panel lifespan by 50%. Paired with a 7000 mAh battery with a Si/Ca anode, the iQOO 15 offers long‑lasting, stable performance with reduced heat and reliable endurance for heavy use and extended gameplay. The device supports 100W wired and 40W wireless fast charging as well as ByPass Charging 2.0 technology.
Gaming on the iQOO 15 is engineered for responsiveness and immersion. It supports native 144 FPS in various titles, with extremely low input lag - tap response at 24.58 ms and swipe latency at 44.16 ms. Touch sampling goes up to 3200 Hz instantaneous, and 360 Hz multi-touch sampling ensures precise control in competitive play. Dual-axis vibration motors provide layered 4D haptics, and stereo speakers deliver wide, spatial sound.
The iQOO 15 is driven by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor alongside Vivo's in-house Q3 gaming chip, designed to deliver console-level graphics, real-time ray tracing, and AI-boosted performance. Paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM and as much as 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, the phone reaches read/write speeds up to 9600 Mbps for smooth multitasking and near-instant load times, while an advanced 8K VC Cooling System maintains thermal stability during heavy use.
The camera setup is versatile and capable. Photography options include dynamic portrait modes at 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 100mm, long-focus night shots, and AI-driven anime-style processing. The rear system uses three 50MP sensors: a main Sony IMX921 with an f/1.88 aperture and OIS, a telephoto Sony IMX882 with OIS and autofocus, and an autofocus ultra-wide lens. Selfies are handled by a 32MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 90° field of view.
Connectivity is comprehensive, featuring dual 5G acceleration across four network combinations, extended 5.8 GHz Wi‑Fi coverage, Bluetooth 6.0, and full-function NFC. The phone also supports seamless file sharing and syncing with Apple devices, including iPhone, Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, and AirPods.
Running OriginOS 6, the iQOO 15 includes intelligent tools such as a smart writing assistant, voice control, universal search, and a gaming assistant that tunes performance and network settings in real time. The build is rugged and practical, carrying IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, plus an AR anti-reflective coating and fingerprint‑resistant finishes to improve durability and everyday usability.
As far as pricing goes, the global iQOO website is silent about it. In India, the model costs INR 73K for the 12GB+256GB version and INR 80K for the 16GB+512GB variant.
